HUB Dining and Other Options

The HUB is great if you have an hour to kill between class, but you will learn early on that the lines are long and the trips eat up your dining points. The HUB is very popular because it has a lot of food options without having to go
downtown. If you have a lot of time it is best to go during the middle of a typical class period, the lines are a lot shorter then. My advice is to check the hours, some places are open in the evening and others only stay open until 3 PM. Your options range from chinese, smoothies, chick fil a, mexican, italian and more. The HUB will have something for everyone!

There are four Panera restaurants on campus which are pretty new. Two of them are on the western side of campus, one being in the IST/Westgate building and the other in Kern building across from the library. The third is located in the Zoller Gallery which is close to the Palmer Art museum. The fourth is in the law building which is a pretty far walk. These locations offer quick grab and go options as well as on site ordering. This year they started a coffee subscription where you can get unlimited hot coffee, iced coffee, and hot tea for $9 a month. Panera is a good option if you want to grab something quick or change it up from the dining hall!

With these great options being on campus just be careful about how often you go. It is really easy to suck a lot of money out of your dining plan, especially if starbucks is a daily treat for you. I usually eat at these places as a treat or after something big, kind of as a reward. It is really nice that it is available so close to classes and the dorms!
